Learn with us this Lent

The days running from Ash Wednesday to Easter have traditionally been a time to devote ourselves to something specific.  For some, this means giving up something: fasting from food, social media, alcohol or chocolate.  Many use this time to take up a new routine: daily Bible reading or a special pattern of prayer.

Following the success of the Lent Course last year, we are running three different study courses.  You can join one of the courses or even all three, but please commit to come along each time and journey with others.

Jesus' Final Week

Saturdays at 9.00 in the Back Room of the Ox House, Northleach
8 weeks, commencing 7th February 2026. Led by John Hollows.

We read the Bible, talk about the Bible passage together and conclude with Open Prayer. We aim to conclude at 10am promptly.

We will be studying the events that took place in Jesus' final week of life - Palm Sunday, the Last Supper, the trial, Jesus' death and his resurrection - are foundational to our Christian lives and to our salvation. Focusing on these events day-by-day brings new understanding to who Jesus is and how he loves us.

The Bible Course

Wednesdays at 7.00pm in the Northleach Church Rooms.
8-weeks from 11th February. Led by Charlie Styles.

Created by the Bible Society, this is an eight-session journey through the big story of Scripture. With clear teaching videos, helpful visuals, and plenty of space for conversation, it guides you from Genesis to Revelation, showing how the whole Bible fits together and how its message speaks into real life today.

If you’ve been reading the Bible for years the course will deepen your confidence through understanding God’s word. If you’re exploring faith or simply curious, you’ll find a warm welcome and a chance to discover the heart of the Christian story in a relaxed, open environment.

PILGRIM: The Lord's Prayer

Wednesdays 11.15am - 12.30pm in the Northleach Church Rooms.
Six weeks, beginning on Ash Wednesday (18th February). Led by +David Jennings.

Whether you’ve prayed the Lord’s Prayer for years or are fairly new to Christian prayer, this course offers something meaningful and enriching. You’ll have the chance to grow in understanding, explore how to make this prayer your own, and connect with others on the same journey. We hope you’ll join us — come, let’s explore together.
